Diana Dors' Delahaye
Commissioned by Sir John Gaul of Monte Carlo and given as a gift to the 17 year-old Diana Dors, this 1949 Delahaye Type 175 S Roadster is a true one-off. Built on one of only fifty-one of this type of Delahaye chassis, the sumptuous body is the work of Saoutchik. Power comes from a 165bhp 4.5-litre straight-six, while hydraulic brakes and a Dubonnet front/De Dion rear suspension setup ensure that the ride is as advanced (well, by 1949 standards) as it is luxurious.
It's soon to be available through RM Auctions. Click here if you've got $4,000,000-$6,000,000 burning a hole in your pocket.
