Bonneville Enzo



What would you do if you totalled your Ferrari Enzo on a road rally? Rebuild it? Scrap it and buy another? To be honest, you could ask me that question all day and I probably wouldn't come up with turning it into a salt racer as a solution. Nevertheless, that's exactly what one chap is doing...

As you can see from the pictures, this Enzo features skinny tyres, a more aerodynamic nosecone and the trademark flat-faced wheels sported by all respectable Bonneville speedfreaks. For good measure, it's also running a twin-turbo setup that enables a peak output of 850bhp (200-odd more than standard), and should be able to smash the standard car's 226mph top speed.
