Brand new '72

BMW's Classic Centre recently opened up a Classic Customer Workshop, the principle of which is to restore old Beemers to the correct Bavarian standards. In the words of Ralf Vierlein, BMW Group Classic's boss of sales and aftersales, 'We have the theoretical knowledge of the vehicles, the technical expertise, original BMW Parts, and the requisite infrastructure to systematically link it all up'. So it makes sense, if you want some work done on your classic, to take it home for a proper job.

Their first customer project was the 1972 3.0CSi you see in the pictures. There are no hints as to exactly what the client paid, but what he's ended up with is effectively a brand new '72 BMW. Which is nice.
