Chelsea Auto Legends 2010
Held in the grounds of the historic Royal Hospital, the inaugural Chelsea Auto Legends show played host to a glorious array of sports cars, racers, supercars and classics. Le Mans was the notional theme of the event, with a lengthy line-up of famous competitors and race winners along one side of the green, but the overall selection of cars sat under the umbrella of a broader theme: awesomeness.
It's generally a rare thing outside of Goodwood to find a selection of cars at an event that encompasses the Peugeot 405 T16, Ferrari 250 GTO SWB, DeTomaso Mangusta, Lotus Cortina, Jaguar XJR-9, BMW 3.0 CSL, Porsche Carrera GT, Aston Martin DB5, Austin Seven, BMW M1 and countless others; the randomness of it all made for spectacular variety.
This, of course, was only the first year of Chelsea Auto Legends... stick the date in your diary for next year (September 4th), as it will undoubtedly be even bigger and better.
