Rhapsody in Steel

Quite an unusual film, this. Made in 1933, it tells the tale of a Ford production line worker who goes home having made one car fewer than targetted; he dreams of the 5000th Ford V8 of the day being built by a small cartoon fairy. It gives a fascinating insight into how the cars were produced (in terms of how they fit together, obviously - they weren't actually built by little fairies).
