The Lotus/Caterham/Dax/Locost/etc Seven is one of the purest and most involving cars that you can drive, with obscene power-to-weight ratios and the ability to steer the car with your arse as you're perched over the rear axle. Every petrolhead has one in their dream garage.
Similarly, it's often said that you're not a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo. So... it makes sense to combine the two, right?
Courtesy of Automobiliac, here we have a Seven fitted with an Alfa V6 and transaxle. And while it may not be the quickest of Sevens (due to the higher than average weight), it certainly sounds brilliant. And the Alfa grill is a very cool touch.
