The BMW 2002 Turbo is one of the most aggressive cars ever built; not only does it have a spiky turbo that wallows in lag for an improbably long time before snapping on boost just as you're kissing an apex (keeps you on your toes, that), but BMW saw fit to plaster '2002 Turbo' in reverse on the front valance, just to intimidate people. Leaving the screwheads exposed on those chunky arch extensions was a real function-over-form statement of intent too.
The oft-overlooked bigger brother, the 2002 Touring, lends its form very well to the Turbo treatment, as you can see here. Munich never saw an official Touring Turbo, of course, but this effort from Bangkok makes you wonder why. It just looks so right.
