The Fiat 500 Abarth (or Abarth 500, depending on your own particular levels of nomenclaturial pedantry) is a spicy little meatball. But what if you want something a little less mainstream and obvious? What you want, my friend, is a Novitec Abarth 500.
The noted Ferrari tuner has stretched the power output of the little 500's turbocharged 1.4-litre four to 212bhp - seriously, from a 1.4 - and sweetened up the handling with a few choice suspension upgrades. The cosmetics have also been smacked with the modding stick, offering 17" or 18" alloys, various carbon-fibre addenda and hooliganesque tailpipes. Sounds like a giggle.
